Helicopter rides are coming to the Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach. Maverick Helicopters is partnering with the event for the first time this year. They’ll offer transfers from John Wayne Airport and Long Beach Airport.
The flights start on October 3 and run through October 5. Each one takes about 10 minutes. You land right near the action on the beach.
Passengers 18 and older need a valid photo ID. That’s it for requirements.
For individual seats, a one-way trip costs from $179 per person. They also mention financing options starting at $30 a month.
If you want privacy, charter a helicopter for up to seven people. Those start at $2,499 and can leave from any airport in LA or Orange County.
The airshow draws millions each year. It’s the biggest in the US by attendance. You get aerobatic shows from top pilots and military teams. Plus beach entertainment, autograph sessions, bars, music.
This year includes new aviation tech on display. And it’s all happening over three days in Huntington Beach.
These helicopter options skip the drive. They let you spend more time at the event. Private charters add flexibility if that’s what you need.
